“It was love at first sight and we are already preparing the papers for the marriage,” the CanSons team joked during a recent chat with staff at ADAM Audio’s Spanish distributor, Adagio. “They give us a spectacular stereo image; this is an ultra-defined mono information. We are very happy!” Installation and attenuation were remarkably smooth, thanks to the S5V’s extensive DSP and room management features. “We had to make some adjustments because the speakers were embedded in the wall, and thanks to the internal software it was very easy and the result was impeccable.”

Asked about their experiences working on the S5V, the three studio owners replied, “We have never had a sub-bass response that was so precise. Usually it’s hard to find a pair of speakers that define the middle zone well, which is where you usually have more trouble. With the ADAM S5V it is finally possible to work the mix well in this aspect. When working with electric basses or synthesizers, we finally hear all the nuances we missed for so long.
